How to record a meeting or class in the room

Tap Fn + ⌃ and pick In person. Koi listens through the microphone alone and keeps the sound on the page to play back.

By Irakli, founder ·

How to do it

  1. Tap Fn + ⌃, or click Record on the dock, and pick In person.
  2. Leave it running through the meeting or the class.
  3. Tap Fn + ⌃ again to stop. The document opens with what was heard.
  4. Say yes to "Summarize this recording?". A class gets a summary, key points, flashcards and what you were told to do; a meeting its decisions and to-dos.

Worth knowing

  • No Screen Recording needed for in person.
  • On a call with Koi, "record this lecture" starts one too.
