Any photo. Behind glass.

Glass wallpaper is in the notch's Tools. It puts a photo behind fluted glass and sets it as the wallpaper on every screen, at each screen's full resolution.

1. Hover the notch, open Tools and click Glass wallpaper. It opens on Aurora, one of Koi's own photos.
2. Under Photo, pick Aurora, Cloudscape, Colour, Flow or Waves, or the sixth tile for a photo of your own. You can also drop a picture on the preview.
3. Under Recipes, pick a look: Classic Flutes, Tidal, Soft Lens, Rain or Tiles.
4. Tune it if you like. The preview changes as you go.
5. Click Set as wallpaper.

Koi's five pastel photos are Aurora, Cloudscape, Colour, Flow and Waves. Each one comes down from koiscribe.com the first time you pick it, with a ring filling on its tile as it does. The sixth tile is for your own photo, and any picture dropped on the preview works too.

• Save current keeps a look of your own among them.
• Copy recipe puts a look on the clipboard as text to share, and Paste recipe uses one someone sent you.

• Grid: the shape of the ribs.
• Refraction: how the glass bends the photo.
• Fit: how the photo sits behind the glass.
• Size, Distortion and Angle: sliders, and the preview follows them as they move.

• Set as wallpaper puts it on every screen, each at its own full resolution.
• Export image… saves it as a picture, to use anywhere.
• On a call, say “open glass wallpaper” and Koi opens it for you.

The glass is drawn on your Mac. Your own photo is never sent anywhere. The only thing that comes in from outside is one of Koi's five photos, downloaded from koiscribe.com the first time you pick it. More on the privacy page.
