Copy history

Copied it last week? It's still here.

Koi's Copy history keeps everything you copy for 6 months, only on your Mac. Open it from the notch's Tools, search it, pin what matters and copy it again. It never keeps passwords.

Everything you copy, kept for 6 months

Copy history is in the notch's Tools. It keeps everything you copy on your Mac for 6 months: words, links, pictures, and the paths of files you copy in Finder. Nothing is kept until you say yes.

  1. Copy anything. The first time, the notch asks “Keep what you copy?”. Click Keep them.
  2. When you need something back, hover the notch, open Tools and click Copy history.
  3. Find it by day, or search the words, links, file paths and app names.
  4. Click Copy, double-click it, or press Return. It's on your clipboard again.

A list on the left, the whole thing on the right

  • Grouped as Pinned, Today, Yesterday and dates, each row with the app it came from and the time.
  • The picked one whole on the right: every word with a count, a link's site and address, the picture, or the files with their folders.
  • Pin what you use often. Pinned ones stay at the top and are never cleared.
  • Shift-click picks a run and ⌘-click one more, to delete them together. Clear all keeps the pinned ones.
  • Copy the same thing again and it moves up rather than showing twice.

Only on your Mac, never passwords

Copy history is a database of its own on your Mac. It's never sent anywhere, never read by Koi's AI and never part of analytics. It never keeps what a password manager copies, or what an app marks as private or only passing through. Turn it off on the page, or in Settings, Notch & tools, Copy history, which also clears it.
