About
About Koi
A Mac app that types what you say, sees what you see, and helps you get it done.
What Koi is
Koi is a Mac app with two keys. One turns your voice into text in whatever app you're in. The other calls Koi, an AI you talk to out loud, which can look at your screen, point at things, sketch, fix your writing and click around for you. It also writes down your calls, on your Mac, without a bot joining them.
It's for anyone who types all day and would rather talk, and anyone who gets stuck on a screen and wants to ask "what is this, and what do I press?" without leaving what they're doing.
Why it keeps your words on your Mac
What you say, type and set up stays on your own Mac, unless leaving it is necessary for the thing you just asked for. Dictation runs on the Mac, so it works offline. Pages and recorded calls are files on your Mac. When you talk to Koi, your voice and the screen go to the AI for that question, and nothing said is stored. If you turn on call notes, a recorded call's words go to it too, once the call ends, to write a summary and your to-dos. The Trust Center has the details.
Who makes it
Koi is built by Irakli, an independent founder, and sold by Spacerr LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Koi is the website; the app and its assistant are both called Koi.
How we write about other apps
We make Koi, so every comparison on this site says so. Prices and features of other apps come from their own websites and carry the date we checked them. We say where other apps are better, and we don't claim tests we didn't run.
