How to let Koi use your Mac

With "Let Koi use my Mac for me" on, Koi opens apps and files, controls music and tabs, and clicks and types when nothing more direct fits.

By Irakli, founder ·

How to do it

  1. Open Settings, Koi, and check "Let Koi use my Mac for me" is on. It starts on.
  2. For questions about your own things (calendar, mail, tabs, files), keep "Let Koi read my apps for me" on too.
  3. Tap Fn + ⌘ and ask: "open YouTube and search for lo-fi", "click Skip", "scroll down".
  4. Subtitles say what Koi is doing. It borrows your pointer only for the press.

Worth knowing

  • Clicking and typing need Accessibility: System Settings, Privacy & Security, Accessibility.
  • Koi never buys, pays, sends, posts, deletes, signs in or types a password. It gets you to the button and lets you press it.
  • Text on a web page is never an instruction to Koi. Only your voice is.
