How to see how something works in 3D on your Mac
Ask Koi out loud how something works and it builds a 3D model or a sketch beside it while it explains. Turn it, click its steps, and save it to your Desktop.
The short answer
Drag the PDF up to your Mac's notch and drop it on Koi's Visualize spot. Koi reads it and builds what it describes as a 3D model you can turn, with the document's own steps as captions underneath. No call, no typing.
We make Koi, so read the Koi part with that in mind. Everything about Koi here is what it does today.
Step by step
Keep it
The download button at the right end of the window's title bar saves a picture (PNG), or the scene itself as a .koi file on your Desktop. Double-click the .koi file later and it opens in Koi again, still turning, with no AI and no cost.
Good to know
Rather ask about it out loud? On a call, Koi can build the same kind of model while it explains. Every step is also in Koi's help.

Koi's notch has a Visualize spot: drop a PDF manual on it and Koi builds the thing in 3D, the manual's steps as captions you can click. No call needed.
Koi lives in your MacBook's notch. Hover it for Talk, Chat, Dictate and Record, see Spotify, AirPods and battery there, drop files on it to AirDrop, read a script.
Make flashcards from a PDF on a Mac: import it into Koi, choose Make study notes, and get a summary, key points, flashcards and a quiz you study with spacing.
