How to turn a PDF manual into a 3D model
Drop a PDF manual or datasheet on Koi's notch and it builds the thing in 3D, with the manual's own steps as captions you can click. No call, no prompt.
The idea
You know the one. Forty pages, tiny grey diagrams, step 7 refers to part C, and part C is on page 3. You give up and watch a YouTube video from someone with a different model.
So we gave the notch a new drop spot. Drag the manual up there, drop it on Visualize, and Koi builds the thing in 3D with the manual's own steps as captions. Click step 7 and the camera flies to part C.
How it works
No call, no prompt, nothing to type. Koi reads about thirty pages and looks at the pictures on the first six, which covers most quick-start guides.
Keep it
Save a PNG, or save the scene as a .koi file. Double-click it the next time the shelf wobbles and it opens in Koi again, still turning, at no cost.
Honest limits
Step by step: how to turn a PDF manual into a 3D model. The same 3D scenes show up on a call when you ask Koi how something works.
Drop a PDF manual or datasheet on Koi's notch and it builds the thing in 3D, with the manual's own steps as captions you can click. No call, no prompt.
On a call, Koi now explains with a picture: a sketch drawn by its pointer, or a 3D model built part by part that you can turn. Save it as a .koi file.
Koi lives in your MacBook's notch. Hover it for Talk, Chat, Dictate and Record, see Spotify, AirPods and battery there, drop files on it to AirDrop, read a script.
Ask Koi out loud how something works and it builds a 3D model or a sketch beside it while it explains. Turn it, click its steps, and save it to your Desktop.
Support
Pro is $15 a month, or try 3 days for $1 first. Dictation and recorded calls are unlimited on every plan.
