How to update Koi and see what's new

When an update is ready it shows in the notch's right wing. After it, What's new shows once, and every release's notes stay in your documents under Releases.

By Irakli, founder ·

How to do it

  1. Click the update in the notch's right wing, or open Settings, About and click Check for updates.
  2. Koi downloads it, checks it and opens the new version.
  3. On its first launch, What's new walks through what changed.
  4. To read it again later, open Documents: the Releases group has a page for every release, newest first.

Worth knowing

  • Settings, About, Update automatically installs updates by itself.
  • What's new shows only once. A release's page you delete doesn't come back.
  • The welcome tour plays once, the first time you open Koi. It can't be played again.
  • Koi's own downloads are at koiscribe.com/download.
  • On a call, ask Koi: "check for updates". It looks, and the Update button in the notch puts a new Koi in.
