How to change your email, sign out or delete your account

Your Koi account is your email address and nothing else. Settings, Account changes it, signs you out, or deletes it.

By Irakli, founder ·

How to do it

  1. Open Settings, Account.
  2. Change email sends a code to the new address.
  3. Sign out signs this Mac out; Sign out of all Macs signs out everywhere. Your documents stay on the Mac.
  4. Marketing emails turns off the emails that sell rather than inform.
  5. Under Danger zone, Delete account asks you to type "delete my account". Keep my account takes it back while it waits.

Worth knowing

  • A subscription with paid days left keeps working until they're used, then the account goes.
  • Uninstall Koi, at the bottom of Settings, About, removes the app and everything it keeps on this Mac (documents, pictures, downloaded models, settings and permissions) once you type "I want to uninstall Koi". It can't be undone, and your account stays.
  • To quit Koi, open Documents and press ⌘Q.
